Wildlife Reserves Singapore Registered Travel Agent Purchase Policy

The purpose of Wildlife Reserves Singapore (“WRS”) Registered Travel Agent (“TA”) Purchase Policy is to facilitate the travel agents’ procurement of WRS products via various channels.

This TA Purchase Policy Document governs the provisions of WRS TA Agreement.

  1. Eligibility

    TA must make a first purchase of 300 TA Admission Tickets and achieve a minimum total of 1,000 TA Admission Tickets across all four (4) parks (or total TA Admission and TA meals’ sales of S$20,000) during the Effective Period (1st April – 31st March annually).

     

  2. Type of products available for TA purchase

     

    1. Admission & Rides – Jurong Bird Park (“JBP”), Night Safari (“NS”), River Safari (“RS”) & Singapore Zoo (“SZ”).

    2. Meals – Lunch with Parrots, Ulu Asian Buffet Dinner, Ulu Indian Buffet Dinner, Nanyang Delights Buffet, Teahouse Set Lunch, Panda Pau High Tea Set & Jungle Breakfast with Wildlife.

    3. Miscellaneous – NS Language Tram & Chartered Tram

  4. Payment Policy Overview

     

    Our available payment methods Online and Onsite provide convenience for TA to ensure smooth transaction. Please choose your preferred method of payment as followed:

     

    Payment Guidelines:

     

    1. Online

      1. Credit Card

        • Direct payment can be made using Visa or MasterCard.

      2. Store Value

        • To make check out faster, you can now draw down from your Store Value.

          How to set-up the Stored Value Account

      3. Cash Store Value

        For first time setup, funds can only be deposit through bank transfers or by cheque.

        • Minimum and subsequent top up of S$5,000 is required. Subsequent top-ups are also set at S$5,000 per top-up at $1,000 increment.

        • There is no limit on the frequency of your top-up.

        • TA may consider deposit a bigger sum to cut down the top-up frequency and to prevent any disruption to the online purchase process.

        • Subsequent top-up can be made using credit card (Visa, MasterCard and AMEX), local bank transfer, local bank cheque or overseas telegraphic transfer.

        • Top up of cash store value can be done via telegraphic transfers, online banking or cheque.

        • Local Bank transfer will take within 1 working day and as of Local cheque or Overseas telegraphic transfer will take within 3 working days.

        • Your account balance will be updated within 1-3 working days, once payment has been cleared

           

      4. Credit Store Value

        • TA must have a pre-approved of credit facility with WRS.

        • TA can assign a fraction or all available credit limit amount to the TA Reseller Portal.

        • WRS will suspend the use of credit facility once the credit term has exceeded it limit. In this juncture, WRS have the right to place all current and future bookings on cash term. Subjected to the same credit term as approved.

           

    2. Purchase via Sales Hotline

      1. Credit Card

        • Offline payment can be made using Visa, MasterCard or AMEX.

      2. WRS Exchange Order Voucher

        • TA must have a pre-approved of credit facility with WRS.

        • TA to produce a copy of the Exchange Order Voucher to guarantee bookings purchase via Sales Hotline.

        • TA is given 30 days credit term to pay up the amount.

        • WRS will suspend use of credit once the credit term has exceeded its limit or credit term has exceeded. In this juncture, WRS have the right to place all current and future bookings on cash term. Subjected to the same credit term as approved.

           

    3. Onsite

      1. Cash or NETS

      2. Credit Card

        • Payment can be made using Visa, MasterCard or AMEX.

      3. WRS Exchange Order Voucher

        • TA must have a pre-approved of credit facility with WRS.

        • TA to produce a copy of the Exchange Order Voucher to guarantee bookings purchase via Sales Hotline.

        • TA is given 30 days credit term to pay up the amount.

  1. Purchase Guideline

    Prices are the same for all purchase made online, onsite or via purchase through Sales Hotline.

     

    1. Online

      1. TA can purchase WRS products up to one (1) month prior to date of visit.

      2. TA can purchase WRS products up SGD5,000 per transaction.

      3. Each order must be for same date of visit.

      4. No limit to the number of transactions for payment made directly via credit card or cash store value (as long as amount in the account is sufficient).

      5. Total transactions are capped at the stipulated amount for payment using the credit store value.

         

    2. Through Sales Hotline

      1. TA can place bookings of WRS products up to twelve (12) months prior date of visit.

      2. Three (3) working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) is required for WRS’ processing of advanced ticket order with minimum quantity of two hundred (200) pieces and using the official ticket order form provided by WRS. The TA shall adhere to the procedures of ticket order and the conditions governing the purchase of the TA Admission Tickets.

         

    3. Onsite

      1. TA can purchase WRS Parks Admission tickets on date of visit over at Ticketing Counter.

      2. Booking of the TA Meals must be made by submitting the official booking form provided by WRS or booked direct from WRS Portal within the stipulated lead time therein. The TA shall adhere to the procedures of booking and the conditions governing the purchase of the TA Meals.

      3. For any purchase of TA Meals onsite it will be subject to availability.

      4. TA can purchase up to a maximum of one hundred and ninety nine (199) TA Admission Tickets onsite from the respective parks’ ticket counter.

      5. The TA is required to present the TA Card issued to them by WRS as proof of eligibility.

         

         

         

         

         

         

         

         

         

  2. Product Validity

    1. Admission & Rides

      1. NS – valid for date and time specific for 7.15pm & 8.15pm entry; one month validity for 9.15pm entry.

      2. JBP, RS and SZ – valid for 6 months from date of ticket issuance or indicated date of visit.

         

    2. Meals

      1. All parks – valid on indicated date of visit

         

    3. Miscellaneous

      1. All parks – valid on indicated date of visit

         

  3. Amendment

    1. Online – TA has up to 3.00pm on date of visit (to NS) and 3.00pm one day prior to date of visit (to JBP, RS and SZ) to make amendment or return its Orders with Reserved status. No amendment is allowed after the stipulated cut-off time. No amendment is allowed for Orders with Confirmed status in the TA Reseller Portal.

       

    2. Through Sales Hotline – TA has up to 3.00pm on date of visit (to NS) and 3.00pm one day prior to date of visit (for JBP, RS and SZ) to make amendment its Orders. No amendment is allowed after the stipulated cut-off time. If date of visit falls on a weekend or Public Holiday, amendment of Orders has to reach Sales Hotline via email by 3pm on the last working day.

       

      For advance ticket orders, no amendment is allowed once the order is confirmed.

       

    3. Onsite – All transactions done onsite are final. No amendment after payment is made. No amendment is allowed if prior bookings made offline are confirmed by Sales Hotline.

       

  4. Refund of Purchase

    1. No refund of purchase is allowed beyond Product Validity.

    2. No refund of purchase will be made for Orders with Confirmed status in the TA Reseller Portal.

    3. No refund in any form is allowed once the order is confirmed and/or payment is deducted offline by Sales Hotline.

    4. Refund will be made in the event that –

      1. WRS is unable to render the services under any circumstances;

      2. Technical issues as identified by WRS.

    5. Refund of Purchase will be reviewed by WRS on case to case basis.

    6. Refund request must be made in writing via email to Sales Hotline within three (3) working days. Relevant documents to support refund request are required.

    7. WRS will credit the amount back to TA store value within 2-4 working weeks upon clearance of approval from Finance. No cash refund will be made to the TA.

       

       

       

       

  5. Cancellation of Purchase

    1. No cancellation of purchase is allowed beyond Product Validity and / or the stipulated cut-off time.

    2. No cancellation of purchase is allowed for Orders under Confirmed status in the TA Reseller Portal.

    3. 100% cancellation fees apply after the cut-off time / deadline as stipulated for the various buying channels. Cancellation fees waiver request will not be entertained.

    4. Cancellation request for offline purchase must be made at least one (1) working day prior to date of visit by 3pm via email to Sales Hotline. Relevant documents to support cancellation request are required.

      2. Process for refund (where applicable) will take about 10 working days upon approval.

         

  6. Tour Leader Complimentary Procedure

    1. One (1) overseas tour leader is entitled to one Tour Leader complimentary pass for every 15 paying adults or 30 paying children or equivalent. WRS will accord up to a maximum of four (4) complimentary Tour Leader complimentary passes. Tour leader identification is required.

    2. Tour Leader complimentary includes admission, meals (if TA guests are dining) and Language Tram seats (if TA guests opt for Language tram). Tour leader complimentary for language tram is subject to availability at the time of redemption.

    3. For online purchase via the TA Reseller Portal, TA can redeem the Tour Leader complimentary at the respective parks’ ticketing counter by producing the Collection Note stating sufficient group size.

    4. Sales Hotline will take in the Tour Leader complimentary requests when TA made offline / advance purchase. Tour Leader complimentary can then be redeemed onsite on actual date of visit.

    5. For onsite purchase, Tour Leader complimentary will be accorded upon request.

       

  7. Revalidation of TA Admission Tickets

    1. No revalidation for Night Safari TA admission.

       

    2. Only TA Admission Tickets to JBP, RS and SZ may be revalidated seven (7) days before the expiry of the original ticket validity subject to the following conditions:

      1. subject to WRS management approval;

      2. a charge of S$1.50 per ticket returned for revalidation;

      3. top-up the ticket price difference from the original purchased amount to the prevailing ticket rate;

      4. the TA Admission Tickets are to be returned to the respective WRS’ park at least seven (7) working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) prior to ticket expiry date;

      5. no second or subsequent revalidation is allowed for the TA Admission Tickets that have been revalidated;

      6. a minimum of ten (10) TA Admission Tickets and maximum of two-hundred (200) TA Admission Tickets per revalidation transaction is allowed and capped at a maximum of three (3) revalidation transactions per contracting year;

      7. the revalidation can be for a combination of all parks’ TA Admission Tickets and/or adult and child tickets; and

      8. the validity of the revalidated TA Admission Tickets will be extended for a maximum of two (2) months only from the original expiry dates of the tickets.

         

    3. Original park admission may be revalidate to other park subject to WRS approval, revalidation charge, admission rates difference and all the conditions on sub clause 12.b.

       

       

  8. Termination

    1. The TA Purchase Policy should be read in conjunction with the WRS Travel Agent Agreement and in the event of any discrepancy between the terms of this Policy and the WRS Travel Agent Agreement, the terms of the WRS Travel Agent Agreement shall prevail.

    2. Termination terms and conditions as stated in WRS Travel Agent Agreement shall apply to this Policy.

    3. WRS will refund any cash balance in the TA Reseller Portal stored value account back to the TA within 60 days from the termination date.

    4. WRS reserves the right to modify and update this TA Purchase Policy from time to time to ensure that this TA Purchase Policy is consistent with any changes to the laws and requlations applicable to WRS and also the developments of our products and services.

    5. This TA Purchase Policy shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Singapore.
